Beli is one of the oldest settlements of Cres, which is situated at 130 m high hill above the east coast of the northern part of the island. Beli is becoming more and more tourist-oriented place for family and camping tourism, with a nice pebble beach and well protected harbor. ECO CENTER "Caput Insulae" operates in Beli which set up a network of eco-instructive track "History and Art in nature" and guide the protection of griffon vultures and a number of actions. Lovers of historical heritage can visit the parish church, the museum collection in the church of Saint Mary, prehistoric stables at the entrance to the city and the Roman bridge over the canyon.
