Bibinje was mentioned for the first time under the name Bibanum in the 13th century. The parish church of St. Roch was built in 1673. on the location of an earlier structure. Also some remains of antique structures have been found on the location of Banska Punta ( a Roman aqueduct going from Vrana to Zadar), and on Cape Pulja the remains of the St. John's church from 1376. have been found. A complex of ruins of a medieval fortified place known as Babin Dub you can also find here in Bibinje. This place offers you fine beaches and nice pine woods, excellent to take a shade during the hottest summer days and also beautifull olive groves and orchards.
