Kali is a touristic village and harbour on the south-eastern coast of the island of Ugljan, 3 km southeast of Preko. This typical Mediterranean village is the largest place on all of the Zadar islands and one of the most popular fishermen's villages on the Adriatic. Besides fishing and of course seafaring its economy is based on farming, viticulture and olive growing. Its specific atmosphere is created by numerous fishermen's boats docked in the harbour. The traditional Kali Fishermen's Night is held in August.

There is a local road connecting the village with the opposite side of the island. There are two pebble coves there, named Lamjana Vela and Lamjana Mala, separated by a small peninsula, very attractive for swimming and sunbathig. In front of the coast is the islet of Osljak also very attractive for bathing. The village was first mentioned in 1343. In 1698 the Baroque church replaced an earlier structure. On the hill above the village is a small church of St. Peregrine from the 14th century.
