Lubenice is situated in the central western coast of the island. The place is 4000 years old. A medieval fortress of Croatian rural architecture rises on the top of a cliff 378 m high, a place where seagulls circle under you, over a huge ravine, but above the huge rocks and the sea that stretches into infinity.
The greatest manifestation are the "Lubenice evenings" where you can listen to the pieces of numerous international and Croatian authors, from early Renaissance music to modern classic, while the event finishes with harmony singing (klapas) and folklore.
