Moscenice lies at 173 m above sea level, about two kilometers above Moscenicka Draga. Because of its beautiful views on the whole Kvarner Bay, Moscenice is a favorite resort for many groups of tourists, but also the starting point for lovers of walking and hiking being on the way to the old mountain villages where Ucka hiking trails lead to. In addition to the typical Mediterranean architecture, the viewpoint near the church and local history museum and an old olive mill TOS are very interesting to its visitors. Moscenice were once the main settlement in the area, but later most of the population descended to the sea, in Moscenicka Draga, 753 steps away.
