Njivice is situated near Omisalj and within the Municipality of it. The first hotel "Luka" (now "Jadran") and Villa Dinka were built in 1930., which is considered the beginning of tourism in Njivice. This tourist destination is the youngest parish on the island today. There is Lake not far from Njivice. There are two of them on the island. It used to be fishing area, but for several decades, it is regulated as a source of drinking water. Beautiful beaches, very blue sea, plenty of shade with excellent accommodation facilities are the properties that have attracted visitors in Njivice.
