Seget field abounds in small churches and archeological remains from ancient times. Thanks to the location and the mild climate, the population today is primarily engaged in agriculture, fishing, shipbuilding and, of course tourism.

The town of culture and gourmet specialities, gentle and harmonious people, within easy reach of the big towns on the middle Dalmatian coast, it offers special events to fishermen and lovers of water sports.
Seget provides the holiday outside of a busy life, and still in the very vicinity of cultural centres, Trogir and Split. As far as entertainment is concerned, this old fishermen village is connected with the tourist village Medena full of numerous entertaining and sport contents, by a path along the seacoast a kilometer long.
