Silo is a tourist resort located on the north side of the island, opposite the Crikvenica Riviera. It has always been fishing and maritime place. The first ferry on our Adriatic coast sailed from Silo to Crikvenica . Silo celebrates its day on 16th of August, on the Feast of St. Rocco. There are no hotels in Silo,but an accommodation can be found in rooms, apartments and family houses in the camp. In addition to regulated local beaches, there are many recreational activities. The sandy beach Pecine has the Blue Flag. The diving tour of a sunken Greek ship is particularly attractive.
