Tkon is the second-largest settlement on the island of Pasman, one of the islands in the Zadar Archipelago. Pasman and the nearby island of Ugljan are called twin-islands, and they are connected with a bridge across the narrow passage of Zdrila. An undisturbed quiet and a direct contact with nature are the advantages of Tkon compared with big tourist centres. Tkon is a town and small harbour on the southern part of the eastern coast of the island of Pasman. Chief occupations are farming, viniculture, olive growing, fishing and tourism. Situated on the regional road; ferry connections with Biograd na Moru. The small harbour is protected from all winds and waves; smaller yachts can anchor along the embankment.

The parish church of St. Thomas was erected in 1742. The main altar features the Virgin Mary, a painting attributed to the Zadar painter Petar Jordanic from the end of the 15th century
