General conditions on reservation of accomodation
1. General regulations
These general conditions are valid for all natural or legal persons (in the following text the Traveler), who arrange the booking or some other services through To Islands Travel d.o.o. (in the following text the Agency), presented on the Agency’s Internet pages (www.adria-island.org) or some other Agency’s advertising material or pages. These general conditions are constituent part of the contract on travelling (in the following text Voucher) which confirms that the Agency arranged certain booking or some other service in the name or for the Traveler (in the following text the Reservation ) with the providers of the services (in the following text the Host). With the booking of the Reservation the Traveler confirms that he understood all the general conditions and that he will obey them absolutely. With the booking of the Reservation all these alleged general conditions become legaly binding for the Traveler and the Agency. The Agency in this bussiness stands as the intermediator.
2. The Agency’s offer
The Agency offers to the Traveler the accomodation and the other services presented on the Agency’s internet pages. The Agency signs with the Hosts a special contract on intermediation, fills in special questionaries about the accomodation complex and about every accomodation unit and arranges with the Host the price of the accomodation unit. The Host obligates himself with his signature on the questionaries and the contract, that all alleged data about his object and the accomodation units are true, responsabile for the autencity of the data and gives the Agency the authority to book the Reservations with the Travelers in his name. The accomodation units are described according to the official categorization of the authorized institution and according to the questionaries filled by the Host. The Host garantees that all the photos presented on the Agency’s internet pages are authentic.
3. Agency's Obligations
The Agency obliges itself to make the arranged Reservation realised, according to the traditions in the tourism industry. The Agency provides the services according to the information published on the day of the confirmation of the Reservation from the part of the Traveler except in the circumstances beyond its control. If some disagrement between the Traveler and the Host appears, the Agency obligates itself to help resolve the problem according to the mutual pleasure.
4. The price of the service
The price for every accomodation unit is nominated on the price list at the bottom of the presentation page of the certain object. The price is connected with the presented service (only bed, bed with breakfast, half-bord or sth similar) and presented equipment of the accomodation unit. The price includes the fee which the Traveler has to pay to the Agency for its services. The other services not alleged on the price list has to be payed additionally. If the air-conditioning is not included in the price that has to be nominated additionally on the page of the certain object. The prices nominated on the Agency’s internet pages are arranged on the basis of the contract with the Hosts and our partners and does not have to match the prices published on the price list sin the facility in which the Traveler sojourn. The eventual difference in the price can not be the subject of the complaint. The prices are appointed in EUR.
The Agency keeps the right to change the prices. The Travelers who already made the down payment or payed the total amount for the Reservation the Agency garantees the service according to the agreed price.
5. Sojourn tax
The Traveler pays the sojourn tax together with the payment of the last amount of money in the name of the Reservation or to the Host when arriving in the accomodation unit or to the Agency if the total payment is agreed to be payed to the Agency. For those objects where the sojourn tax has alredy been included in the price that is nominated specifically. Sojourn tax usually amounts 7 kn per adult person (cca 0,95 EUR). In some less developed tourist areas in Croatia could be smaller. Also it is smaller in the pre-season or post-season. Children from the age of 12 to 18 are entitled to a 50% of that amount while the children under the age of 12 do not pay the sojourn tax. The Agency will explicitly inform the guest of the residence fee payment obligation, instructing the guest to pay via the Agency. If the guest has not been explicitly informed via e-mail or over the phone, the guest will pay the residence fee directly in the hotel where he/she is staying.
6. The rights and the obligations of the Traveler.
The Traveler realizes the Reservation according the determined conditions with the Agency nominated in the Voucheru issued in his name. If the Traveler wants to change the conditions from the Voucher (greater number of persons than at the moment of the agreement of the reservation, enlargement of the sojourn etc. ) he has to inform the Agency which will arrange the new price and realize the change if possible. The Traveler has the right to use the total presented equipment of the certain accomodation unit according the prices arranged. If he wants some additional services, which are out of the agreed conditions, he has to make the agreement with the Agency and the Host. At the moment of arrival in the accomodation unit, the nominated has to be clean and equiped with the clean laundry, towels and the toalet paper. The laundry and the towels has to be replaced with the clean ones every seven days. The Host is obligated to allow to the Guests undisturbed usage of the accomodation unit. The Traveler is obligated to respect the house order and also all the laws of the Republic of Croatia.
7. The process from the quest to the Reservation and the models of payment
The Agency receives the quests from the Travelers by e-mail, telephon, or in the written form or personaly in the Agency’s office, than it inquires the availibility of the certain service and informs the Traveler about the information received. If the Traveler expresses the wish to make the Reservation for the determined term and the determined service in his name, than it makes the alleged term and the service booked on his name. After the confirmation of the Reservation the Traveler gets the instructions for the advanced payment which has to be realized within the dead line announced by the Agency. After the reception of the payment the Traveler will get from the Agency the written documents about his payment from depending the model he chose.
Model 1.
The Traveler pays 40% of the price on the Agency’s account after the agreement of the Reservation and 60% together with the sojourn tax directly to the Host (within 24 hours after his arrival in the object). After the reception of the advanced payment the Traveler will get the Voucher with all the data about the Reservation and the receipt will get from the Host.
Model 2.
The Traveler pays 30% of the price on the Agency’s account after the agreement of the Reservation and 70% together with the sojourn tax also on the Agency's account, not after 30 days before the Reservation starts. After the Agency gets the advanced payment the Traveler will get the confirmation on payment and after the payment of the rest of the money he will get the Voucher. The traveler will get the receipt from the renter upon the arrival.
Model 3.
If there are less than 30 days to the beginning of the Reservation the total amount together with the sojourn taxes has to payed immediately on the Agency’s account. After the payment the Traveler gets the Voucher, the receipt will get from the renter upon the arrival.
If there are less than 10 days to the beginning of the Reservation the Traveler is obliged to send by fax the prove on his payment to the Agency.
The Traveler has to pay all expenses of the money transfer including bank provision.
8. Canselled Reservations
If the Traveler would like to cansel already payed Reservation the next cancelling expenses are valid:
15% of the total amount of the Reservation if the same has been cancelled 90 days prior to the beginning date of the service.
30% of the total amount of the Reservation if the same has been cancelled 89 to 30 days prior to the beginning date of the service.
50% of the total amount of the Reservation if the same has been cancelled 29 to 15 days prior to the beginning date of the service.
75% of the total amount of the Reservation if the same has been cancelled 14 to 7 days prior to the beginning date of the service.
100 % of the total amount of the Reservation if the same has been cancelled 6 to 0 days prior to the beginning date of the service.
All costs of the money refund are the Traveler expenses.
The Agency leaves the possibility to the Traveler, not in position to consume the Reservation that he can find another Traveler for the Reservation. The new Traveler accepts all the conditions of the Reservation and accepts this general conditions.
9. Check in, check out (arrival hour and departure hour in the accomodation unit)
The Travelers enter in the reserved accomodation after 12,00 of the first day of the Reservation and leave before 10,00 in the morning of the last day of the Reservation unless agreed otherwise.
The Traveler has to come in the reservated unit untill midnight on the day of the beginning of the Reservation or has to inform the Agency about the delay. If does not do so the Reservation is considered cancelled and the cancelling expenses has to be counted.
10. The right of the Agency on changes and cancelling
If the Agency notices possible problems in getting the Reservation realised it is obliged to inform the Traveler about that and recommend another accomodation. In the case that it is impossible to realise the other accomodation the Agency obliges to make the refund of all payed amount from the Traveler to the Agency. If any kind of unpredictable problem which is not possible to prevent occurs at the day of the beginning of the Reservation, so it could not be realised than the Agency will try to find replacement accomodation from its offer. If that solution could not be realised than it will try to help the Traveler to find the alternative accomodation and make the refund of the amount payed on the Agency’s account.
11. Complaints
If there could be seen some failures upon the arrival in the accomodation unit the Traveler is obliged to contact the Agency upon the issue immediately and cooperate with the Agency and the Host in the good faith that the problem will be removed. If the failures could be removed and does not disturb further consumation the Traveler has no right on further complaints. If the failures could not be removed and they influence the quality of the Reservation, the Traveler has to send written complaint about the issue within 7 days upon his return from the vacations and the end of his Reservation and therefore can ask for a adequate refund (e-mail: info@adria-island.org). The complaint has to be explained with reasonable correct arguments.
12. Other terms
The Agency obligates to protect the personal data about the Traveler and that it will use them with the purpose of Reservation. If the Traveler books the Reservation at the period of some discount than he consumes the Reservation under those conditions. Different actions do not add. The Agency and the Traveler will try to solve eventual problems with mutual agreement and that is not possible than the Court in Split is in the charge of the case and the Croatian juridistic laws.
13. Insurance
According to the present croatian laws the Agency is obliged to offer the Travellers the package of travel health insurance. The Agency has the contract with the Insurance company Allianz Zagreb d.d. and is authorised to offer the Travellers the insurance policys of packages on the travel insurance. The Agency in this bussiness works as the intermediator which contracts the insurance policys in the name and for the account of the insurer , according to the prices of the same.
The package of travel health insurance consists of:
A) Health insurance
C) Insurance from the cancelling of the travel
D) Insurance of luggage
Insurance must be contracted at the moment of concluding the Reservation and must be payed at the moment of paying the first amount of money for the determined Reservation.
With accepting the Reservation and receiving the Voucher whose component parts are these General terms, it is considered that the Agency has offered and reccomended to the Traveller the payment of the travel-health insurance. The Traveller doesn’t have to pay all the insurances offered but only those which he wants.

A) Health insurance
Health insurance includes these services:
- Costs of the necessary doctor’s treatment
- Costs of the medicines and medical accessories prescribed by the doctor
- The necessary medical aids and walking tools proscribed by doctors
- Clinical tratment by scientifically acknowledged methods
- Costs of transportation by acknowledged emergency services for purpose of reception in a hospital or to the nearest available doctor
- Costs of transferal to a specialized clinic if it is necessary and prescribed by a doctor
- Costs of operation
- Costs of repatriation of insured person and other services in keeping with insurance conditions, up to the contracted insurance value
- Dental treatment intended to relieve the insured person from acute toothache to the maximum amount of 150 EUR
C) Insurance from the tzravelling cancelling
If the Traveller has to cancell the Travelling this insurance covers the following accidents.
These reasons are:
- the death case
- accidental case with the serious physical wound
- sudden disease
- pregnancy disorders
- intolerance of vaccine
- the damages on the property caused by the fire, natural disaster or by the intended criminal dead of the third person
- millitary exercise
- The Traveller has to apply the proofs if the above mentioned case happens. Insurer has to pay 90% of the amount which the Traveller has to pay for the Reservation.
D) Insurance of luggage
Insurance covers the loss, damage or destroyal of the luggage carried with the Traveller also including the given luggage during the travelling in departure and arrival, including the time of staying at the destination of the travel.
The premium of the insurances depend on the amounts choosen by the Traveller, the value of the Reservation, the number of the Travellers, the duration of the voyage, and they are counted according the pricelist of Allianz Zagreb d.d.
The precise amount of the insurance’s premium (the amount which covers the above mentioned insurances) The Traveller will get the offer of the insurance policy.

Insurance
When making the simulation we followed the most frequent examples of the Reservations we deal with in our work. We consider these amounts not big and we reccomend the payment of these insurances.
We point out that the Travellers don’t have to take all the insurances offered but only one or the combination of two, or three insurances offered. The precise amount you will get in the offer of the insurance policy by our employees.
Family insurance
The term family includes parents and children, grannies and grandchildren and spouses without children. The children are the persons under the age of 18.
GRUPA A - TRAVEL HEALTH INSURANCE
The amounts of the insurance per person 11.500 EUR
The simulation for the rental o fan apartment for 4 persons, 2 adults and 2 children, the price of the apartment is 80 euro per night and the arranged sojourn is 10 nights.
Travel health insurance 1,78 EUR per adult person 0,89 EUR a child per day
11 days x 5,34 EUR = 58,74 EUR
Insurance of the luggage on the amount of 1500 EUR is 19,20 EUR
Insurance from the cancelling of the travelling in this case amounts 27,39 EUR and the insured amount is 800 EUR that is the value of the Reservation.
The total package amounts 58,74 + 19,20 + 27,39 = 105,33 EUR or 26,33 EUR to pay per person.
Individual insurance
Predicted for friends or couple.
GRUPA A – TRAVEL HEALTH
The amounts of the insurance per person is 11.500 EUR
The simulation for the rental of the apartment for 2 person, the price of the apartment is 55 euro per night and the arranged sojourn of 10 nights.
Travel health insurance 1,92 EUR fora an adult person
11 days x 3,84 EUR = 42,24 EUR
Insurance of luggage on the amount of 1000 EUR is 12,88 EUR
Insurance from the cancellation of the travelling in this case amounts 13,69 EUR, the insured amount is 550 EUR meaning the value of the reservation.
Group insurance 5-50 persons
Predicted for the groups of the travellers which are not relatives
GRUPA A – TRAVEL HEALTH
The amounts of the insurance per person 11.500 EUR
The simulation for the apartment rental for 6 persons, the price for the apartment rental is 120 EUR per night and the arranged sojourn is 10 nights.
Travel health insurance 1,64 EUR per person.
11 days x 9,84 EUR = 108,24 EUR
Insurance of luggage on the amount of 500 EUR per person is 5,48 EUR For 6 persons that amounts 32,88 EUR
Insurance of the cancelling of the travelling in this case amounts 41,09 EUR and the insured amount is 1200 EUR that is the value of the reservation.
The total package amounts 108,24 + 32,88 + 41,09 = 182,21 EUR that is 30,36 EUR per person
We consider these amounts not high and we reccomend their payment.

Insurance covers the loss, damage or destroyal of the luggage carried with the Traveller also including the given luggage during the travelling in departure and arrival, including the time of staying at the destination of the travel.
The premium of the insurances depend on the amounts choosen by the Traveller, the value of the Reservation, the number of the Travellers, the duration of the voyage, and they are counted according the pricelist of Allianz Zagreb d.d.
The precise amount of the insurance’s premium (the amount which covers the above mentioned insurances) The Traveller will get the offer of the insurance policy.

Insurance
When making the simulation we followed the most frequent examples of the Reservations we deal with in our work. We consider these amounts not big and we reccomend the payment of these insurances.
We point out that the Travellers don’t have to take all the insurances offered but only one or the combination of two, or three insurances offered. The precise amount you will get in the offer of the insurance policy by our employees.
Family insurance
The term family includes parents and children, grannies and grandchildren and spouses without children. The children are the persons under the age of 18.
GRUPA A - TRAVEL HEALTH INSURANCE
The amounts of the insurance per person 11.500 EUR
The simulation for the rental o fan apartment for 4 persons, 2 adults and 2 children, the price of the apartment is 80 euro per night and the arranged sojourn is 10 nights.
Travel health insurance 1,78 EUR per adult person 0,89 EUR a child per day
11 days x 5,34 EUR = 58,74 EUR
Insurance of the luggage on the amount of 1500 EUR is 19,20 EUR
Insurance from the cancelling of the travelling in this case amounts 27,39 EUR and the insured amount is 800 EUR that is the value of the Reservation.
The total package amounts 58,74 + 19,20 + 27,39 = 105,33 EUR or 26,33 EUR to pay per person.
Individual insurance
Predicted for friends or couple.
GRUPA A – TRAVEL HEALTH
The amounts of the insurance per person is 11.500 EUR
The simulation for the rental of the apartment for 2 person, the price of the apartment is 55 euro per night and the arranged sojourn of 10 nights.
Travel health insurance 1,92 EUR fora an adult person
11 days x 3,84 EUR = 42,24 EUR
Insurance of luggage on the amount of 1000 EUR is 12,88 EUR
Insurance from the cancellation of the travelling in this case amounts 13,69 EUR, the insured amount is 550 EUR meaning the value of the reservation.
Total package amounts 42,24 + 12,88 + 13,69 = 68,81 EUR or 34,40 EUR per person.
* If travellers want only insurance from the cancellation of the travelling then the price will be 13,69 EUR per person.
Group insurance 5-50 persons

11 days x 9,84 EUR = 108,24 EUR
Insurance of luggage on the amount of 500 EUR per person is 5,48 EUR For 6 persons that amounts 32,88 EUR
Insurance of the cancelling of the travelling in this case amounts 41,09 EUR and the insured amount is 1200 EUR that is the value of the reservation.
The total package amounts 108,24 + 32,88 + 41,09 = 182,21 EUR that is 30,36 EUR per person
We consider these amounts not high and we reccomend their payment.
