The island of Losinj is part of the group of islands Cres-Losinj and makes part of the western range of Kvarner islands in the Kvarner Bay. The islands of this group perform the function of a natural bridge between Istria and Dalmatia. The entire coast of the archipelago is full of attractive coves, ideal for swimming and sunbathing. The highest mountain of Losinj is Osorscica (588 m).

Bus line Rijeka-Mali Losinj runs several times a day, the line Zagreb-Mali Losinj twice a day, while there is a direct line from Ljubljana in the summer.
